I for one am still in disbelief that the NFL allowed this to happen. The Chargers pathetically attempting to muscle in on LA, which hasn't even proven that they'll stay interested in the Rams over the long haul. LA outright told the Chargers we don't want you. And yet here they are, playing in some communist kickball stadium.

fwiw RFK Stadium which had the reputation of being the loudest stadium in football, always had a fairly modest 50-56,000 seating capacity from its opening to the Redskins last season. What made it so loud though was that the seats were all fairly close to the field, and it had that overhang around the stadium that Seattle later incorporated. The noise would be directed right back down to the field.
One stadium that always perplexed me was Metropolitan Stadium in Minnesota. To be honest it didn't even look like a compete stadium...just a couple of grandstands thrown together on a frozen tundra. The football capacity was never any higher than 48,000 which is very low, and many of the seats were seemingly miles from the field.

Nothing fits right. You had a slightly off center double decker grandstand here, couple of high risers there, throw some here behind the endzone and shove them in the corner...

The Astrodome was another one that had a smaller football seating capacity than you would think. Up until 1984 it only sat 50,000.

It also had the rare circumstance of having both teams' sideline on the same side.

Different stadium related topic I was stunned to see on a recent trip to Atlanta that the Georgia Dome was so small compared to their new stadium. The Ga some is only 20 years old and the new one makes it look puny, and all this for a fanbase that's notoriously fickle.
Tossing a related topic out, like Metropolitan, what are some other interesting stadium configurations? I always loved the wall in Wrigley, interesting that in a recent ME game there they flipped the direction the field went, but it seemed to make little practical difference.
