Other long-time QBs who I remember being dressed for a game, but never saw action with that team:
- Jeff George, Seattle 2002
- Jeff Garcia, Houston 2011

After 3 years of retirement, Maxie Baughan was put on the active list and suited up for Washington in 1974, but never went on the field.

Raiders versus Packers
The Packers signed Mann two days before that game, after he had been released by the Lions.
During that game, an injured Fred Steinfort had two extra points blocked by Fred Carr, and Ray Guy shanked a third PAT try.
Who do you think the Raiders picked up the following week to replace Steinfort? Errol Mann, whom the Packers had cut.

Yeah, I checked a newspaper account. Mann was active for the game because the other Packers kicker had an injury and the team wasn't sure if he could kick that day or not.
