At the time, I felt had Houston beaten Buffalo, they would have played the Cowboys in the SB but in hindsight, not so sure. Pitts and Miami still would have been in their way and the Steelers did matchup well with them, though I felt O'Donnell wasnt really a clutch QB, though he did better in 1995 before freezing in the SB. Warren Moon seemed to fade in the postseason as well but he also took a beating and it may have caught up with him by the divisional playoffs because he couldnt get beyond those games in 93 and 94 as well with the Vikings ...
Though I feel Moon and the Oilers would have given the Steelers or Dolphins a tough game, they might not have been able to win on the road two or three weeks in a row being a run and shoot, dome team but I will say this ... Had the Steelers beaten the Oilers and faced the Dolphins, Marino would have been motivated to beat the team that should have drafted him ...
