Cowboys going up against Avellini, Lee and Morton was not very taxing for their defense.rhickok1109 wrote:In the 1977 playoffs, Minnesota had to go with Bill Lee because Tarkenton was injured. In the divisional round, Pat Haden started for the Rams. He had taken over for Joe Namath in the fifth game of the season. The Vikings led 7-0 after 3 quarters and won 14-7, with Lee attempting only 10 passes and completing 5 for a whopping 57 yards. Haden went 14 of 32 for 130 yards with 1 TD and 3 INT.
