Comparing the Bills grazing bison w/ the buffalo nickel, they appear identical.
Very close.

He also changed the jerseys from red to black in Atlanta.

Yes, Lombardi changed the helmet emblem from the gorgeous arrow and feathers to the R and feathers which also looked good. That emblem was changed again to the current one in 1972. Hard to believe it's now in its' 45th season.
With the exception of 1982 (I think?) when they had the curved feather. What was the story behind that again?

Any other examples?
Didn't Parcells also changed the Patriots uniforms and helmets from red and White to blue and silver, and the logo in 1992?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the Vikings always wore black shoes under Bud Grant. Then went Les Steckel came in 1984 he changed them to White, and when Grant came back after one season he again returned the to black.

In 1948, the Lions hired former Indiana head coach Bo McMillin, which wore red uniforms. Therefore, Detroit got rid of the iconic Honolulu Blue--temporarily:

I believe Schottenheimer in 2000 went back to burgundy jerseys at home. Maybe 99, I'm not sure.
