״Rumbling, bumbling, stumbling" when a defensive lineman returned a fumble or interception is my favorite quote by Berman.

By the time I started watching NFL Primetime, he had changed it to Natrone Means Business.

Re: Chris Berman retiring from ESPN after 2016 season
Correct me if I'm wrong: Before Tom Jackson came to ESPN to present the NFL highlights (in 1987 even before NFL Primetime) former DE Tony McGee was with Chris Berman to present the highlights in SportsCenter? I also think that Jack Youngblood was with Berman for a year. Both McGee and Youngblood retired after 1984, so they were with Berman in 1985-1986?

Teo you could be right, but having grown up in the 1980s watching ESPN, I don't recall either Youngblood or McGee involved with Berman, or ESPN for that matter.

I do remember Berman hosting Edge NFL Matchup with Allie Sherman back in the late 80's-early 90's.

Oddibe "Young Again" McDowell was his nickname for the former Texas Rangers' outfielder.
