Cincy kicked their butt in their first 1990 meeting, but the Steelers only lost the re-match by four at home (I think they had a red zone INT). It's interesting that Joe Walton was mentioned, because the switch from Moore to Walton may have turned out to be the beginning of the end for Noll and Bubby in Pittsburgh.
I watched an NFL Films Presents show about Bubby, and Merril Hoge was talking about Bill Cowher's first meeting. He said that Cowher wanted a conservative QB, and Hoge said that he looked at Bubby and thought that he was in trouble.
