John, I was editing while you were responding. I get what you are doing now (I think), Nathan's big years weren't actually as a specialist. I was thinking take the player's best year then find a role for him on the team where what I think you did is find the players who had the best year in the given role. Nathan was an interesting case in so much as even when he led the team in carries, he always seemed to make key 3rd down catches as if he was a receiving specialist.
I made the same mistake with Harris - you chose 77 because you needed a season when he played the slot. I chose 82 which was a season where he wasn't the slot guy because I thought it was his best year
Nice job on these teams, very fun to read - must be crazy hard to cross so many eras - seeing some of the modern guys crack the line-up is really interesting.
