He's Art Donovan--without the humor.74_75_78_79_ wrote:Is Tony Siragusa the modern-day (also Baltimore, D-lineman) Art D or what??BD Sullivan wrote:Those who have Antenna TV might be interested to know that this Friday night (2/5), their nightly Johnny Carson rerun will have a 1990 appearance by Art Donovan.Teo wrote:Art Donovan

Re: Five Men I Wish I Could Have Interviewed
Plenty of people in football that I'd have one question for (to clear things up) and many many coaches I'd be interested in just sitting there and letting them talk. The list could change by the day but off the top of my head the five I think would cover the most that I'm interested in:
Joe F. Carr
George Halas
Mel Hein
Ray Flaherty
Red Badgro
The last three would be the best - for me - for multiple levels of football.

He's a hybrid of Art Donovan and Alex Karras - not quite the raconteur that Donovan was, not quite the actor Karras was, but elements of both are there.BD Sullivan wrote:He's Art Donovan--without the humor.74_75_78_79_ wrote:
