Here in Mexico the story of American football is complex. Historically, the top two public universities in Mexico City, the National Autonomous University (UNAM) and the National Polythechnical Institute (IPN) dominated American football into the 80's, they had each 3 or 4 teams, and then at the end of the season they played an all-star game between those schools that was the biggest event of the season (later, they played the Aztec Bowl against a NAIA or DivisiĆ³n III school or all-star team from the US, but it was not so big as the UNAM-IPN Classic). Then the privates unis, led by the Monterrey Technichal Institute (ITESM) began to dominate, and as it has many campuses all over the country, they formed they own league (firts it was nicknamed the Big Ten Conference, later the Tech Ten Conference), and as there were many riots and violence in the UNAM-IPN Classic (fueled by the many pseudostudents both colleges sadly have) that game has losen its importance one time had.

You can see I didn't find this year's game

Or I found two of them, neither on the date I had (January 1)

Thanks for the data, great job!

I found the data on the November 29, 2014 Aztec Bowl played at Chihuahua (in Spanish), where a Division III All-Star team defeated the Mexican All-Stars 24-21.
