Walter Payton nailing the blitzing Vikings LB who came in clean in a 1985 game. Jim McMahon didn't start because he had missed practice, but he entered the game in the second half with Chicago down 2 scores. On Mac's first play, he stumbled while dropping back, and this LB really could have put him out for the rest of the game. But Payton nailed the LB, and McMahon hit Willie Gault for a long touchdown pass to spark a comeback.
I've always though Jim Brown was the best runner ever, but Payton was the best overall player, maybe ever.

Ed McCaffrey made a great block on Denver's final scoring drive in SB 32 on Packer LB Brian Williams (I think).

October 17 2010, Bears WR Earl Bennett puts a de-everything block on Seahawks P Jon Ryan to spring Devin Hester for a TD.

The NFL used the footage of the block as an example of how a clean block should be made.

George Wilson's block was something else though. I think Bill Osmanski would have scored anyway, but Washington lost two starting players on the second play of the game.

In the 1965 AFL championship game, Butch Byrd returned a punt for a touchdown. Punter John Hadl had the best chance to prevent a score, but Paul Maguire wiped him out.
