Dear PFRA Members,
We have now put up on the PFRA News & Events page basic information on the 2016 PFRA Green Bay Meeting. Over the next year we will be posting
addtional information, as well as Guest Speakers and the Event Schedule. One of the big changes for this meeting is that we are charging a fee.
If you were in Cleveland, the Board, as well as the membership agreed to a fee so we could cover the cost of having the meeting at historic
Lambeau Field. We all thought this was a once-in-a-lifetime chance to hold the meeting at Lambeau, so we have set the fee at $50.00 for
members (which covers room rental, tours, food, DVD, etc.) Remember, this is a one-time thing, we will not be charging for every PFRA meeting.
The information page on the website will give you more information, as well as hotel info. You can reserve your spot using the PayPal link.
Look out for more posting on the News & Events pages, as well as the Forum here. The last couple of meetings have been very successful, so we
hope to see you in Green Bay.

What would be cool, next year is the 80th Anniversary of the 1936 Packers winning the Title, would be cool if there was something about the 1936 Packers at the Green Bay meeting.

I never thought of that-- the occasion, of course, is the '66 Packers season, and the organizers will be inviting members of that legendary team to be present. In 2014, it was great to have Hall of Famer Dave Robinson as a keynote speaker at the PFRA convention.

A nod to the 1996 Packers would be nice, as well.James wrote:What would be cool, next year is the 80th Anniversary of the 1936 Packers winning the Title, would be cool if there was something about the 1936 Packers at the Green Bay meeting.

Green Bay is home to the National Railroad Museum as well. And once upon a time, the Packers and other teams travelled by train - does anyone know if they have ever put together an exhibit dealing with pro football on the rails?
