The Harris-produced piece was "I'd Rather Be Right" and starred Cohan who came out of retirement to help his old partner. Cohan portrayed FDR and the play was a smash hit.
George M! was the play that ran on Broadway during Wright's time with the Giants and the NBC TV version also appeared while he was there.
The song "I'd Rather Be Right" was part of the George M! presentation.
(Not trusting 46 years of lullabys of Broadway, I must admit I looked before this post and am proud to say
I did not have to change one word.)
I will add the following which I did not know about George M!
Awards and nominations
Tony Award Winner for Best Choreography (Joe Layton)
Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical (Joel Grey)
Theatre World Award Winner (Bernadette Peters)
Emmy Award Nomination for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Comedy, Variety or Music
(TV adaptation: Walter C. Miller & Martin Charnin)
"It was a different game when I played.
When a player made a good play, he didn't jump up and down.
Those kinds of plays were expected."

Of course, both title come from Henry Clay's famous statement, "I'd rather be right than president."
