Nominations closed yesterday, and, as in 2014, there was only one candidate willing to run for each office. Technically, the results will not be official until after after voting closes on October 30, but our lineup for 2016 will be
President-- Ken Crippen
Vice-President-- Roy Sye
Secretary-- Lee Elder
Treasurer-- John Grasso
Over the remaining time in my term, I'm looking forward to working with Ken to ensure a smooth transition between administrations, and I'm willing to serve on the Crippen team in 2016. I'm pleased that we have a lot of great volunteers out there who have stepped up to do the many chores that are involved in running PFRA, and I'm hoping that there will be others who come forward. Congrats and thank you to Ken, Roy, Lee and John!
Congratulations to PFRA's 2016 Officers!

Re: Congratulations to PFRA's 2016 Officers!
Thank you, Mark.
As you are my choice for executive director, I also look forward to working with you to have a smooth transition.
I also look forward to continuing to work with Mark Durr, who I would like to see continue in his current capacity.
Finally, I look forward to working with the entire board to continue to improve and strengthen the PFRA in the years to follow.

Re: Congratulations to PFRA's 2016 Officers!
And Ken might well change his mind over the next eight months, but as I say, I'll be glad to serve on his team in any capacity. In the meantime, of course, Chris Willis and I are the Executive Director and the President, respectively, and we'll be keeping the place running through the end of the year, even as we work on the transition. The E.D. chooses the Assistant E.D., but at least for the rest of the year, Andy Piascik does a fine job in running another of PFRA's showcases, the HOVG. The other members on the Board are Vice-President, Roy Sye (who coordinates membership and oversees the distribution of the CC); our Secretary, Lee Elder (elected now for the first time after being appointed last year when Chris became E.D.), who handles public relations and the support of people establishing local groups in places like L.A., San Diego, Baltimore, Buffalo and Cleveland; and our Treasurer, John Grasso, who makes sure that the bills are paid and the forms are filed in triplicate. The other member of the Board of Directors is the Publications Director, Mark Durr, who makes our #1 piece of equipment -- the Coffin Corner -- function.
Add to that numerous other people who volunteer time on the different chores of PFRA and who have-- George Bozeka, who organized the Cleveland meeting and who is overseeing the PFRA Book about the 1966 Packers as part of arranging the details on the Green Bay 2016 event; Ken Crippen, who has been our liaison to the players and an assistant editor in between the being E.D. and 2016 President; assistant editors Bob Gill and Denis Crawford; photographer Mark Palczewski, webmaster Billy McClurg, illustrators John Richards and Jared Kraus. Nobody does it all by themselves, and operating PFRA ain't a one-man job. I'll take all the blame when something doesn't go right, and things will sometimes go awry in 2016 as well, but a lot of people deserve the credit for that which has gone right in the past year and a quarter. Our membership has steadily grown, and will continue to do so, and Ken will probably agree that we have a good bunch of people on the team. Thank you again to everyone who helps keep the PFRA running.
