Jack Ham is close. He played in Johnstown, PA (a town about 67 miles from Pittsburgh), Penn State, and the Steelers.
Jeff George played at Warren Central High School in Indianapolis, Purdue (for a little bit), and then with the Colts for four years.
Greg Cook played at Chilicothe High School (a town 104 miles away from Cincinnati), U of Cincy, and for the Bengals.

Very surprised no one mentioned this yet, but if a certain QB would have been drafted by a certain team in the '83 draft.....

Anyone with a Johnstown connection gets special dispensation.
After the flood, they found debris and bodies as far away as Ohio.

"It was a different game when I played.
When a player made a good play, he didn't jump up and down.
Those kinds of plays were expected."
