Nah, it's comical. Sad involves matters of life and death. Let's not get too full of ourselves.
Researchers, writers and historians (of which I consider myself a part) are just people struggling to explain their view of the world to others via the guise of another subject. Rare is the guy who captures reality, if it can be captured at all.
