Tackles, HOF, outside looking in

Post by JohnTurney »

Rough look at the "alls" for tackles -- with some not yel elible

seems like a deep group for a position, with them grouped tightly so as hard to rank

depends on if you like durability, AP/PB, rings ...

When was Offensive Lineman of the Year first given out, and if it was around in the 60’s was it split between AFL and NFL?

If durability’s your thing then would Ralph Neely be one of the best linemen not in Canton?

I's included it chart for those who want to consider it
those who wish to ignore, they can

I had different starts for some of these guys, but
ultimately just adopted PFR, took a lot
back then pre-PFR, TSN Guides and NFL report
the best sources, but only went back to about 1973

before that TSN had some and then had to use
media guides ... some of PFR may be off
but not by much, their biggest play is which position
you have to look at those close, LCB, RCB. FS, SS, etc
