And why do you think the Patriots are making another Super Bowl?

Best-case scenario, which seems to be the most-likely one consensus(Vegas)-wise, the Rams simply win-it-all in '26! But Garrett - and now Donald - shouldn't be seen as "everything"! This even with McVay at helm. His presence hasn't produced another Lombardi since '21 as great a HC he is. There has always been a weakness or so stopping the Rams from doing it again. Their over-reliance on their starters/stars is going to be a detriment, I think.

The Garrett/Donald thing, to me, to somewhere between Karl & Payton joining Kobe & Shaq in 2003 (at least the Lakers made the Finals though) and the Steelers being atop of many power-rankings going into '98 (7-4 to 7-9). And the Rams' schedule (Hawks & SF in their division)! If everyone stays healthy throughout, great chance they get it done (and, again, on their home-court; sure-enough causing many to say, "it's fixed"), but I can't help but to be contrarian and see it the other way; this even with me feeling they split with both aformentioned division-rivals.


Me feeling further success in New England is always something that I hope I'm wrong about, but WHY NOT the SB-beat going on in 2026? The OL will be more together, the addition of AJ Brown (who I think will gel well with Maye), and - like it or not (HATE it) Kraft's franchise always seem to respond rather well to adversity even if its their own doing (Spygate, Deflategate, Robert's own headline and now this off-season Vrabel thing).

I have Denver in the catbird going into their penultimate week game at Foxborough, being one game better than the Pats. And a great game it'll be. But I got the home-team barely pulling it off. And then the following week, the finale, Pats beat Miami at home in the early game, thus clinching top-seed, with Denver now resting their starters and losing at home to the Chargers.
