IIRC Landry---fondly recalled here in Detroit---passed away a couple years ago. Mike-Mayer has to be in his 70s now and may be back in his native Hungary. But he's probably drawing an NFL pension so going through the Players Assn. might be the best way to get a message to him.

Thank you for catching that major oversight of mine on Landry, shame to hear that. You are probably right about Mike-Mayer.

Doesn't NFL Films have film of this game? Maybe Chris Willis could track this down for us...?
Highlights were literally posted in this thread, but whatever happened, it was not in there.

They should have just about every play from every game going back a long time in Laurel, just a question of exhuming it.

Yeah, it can.

The guy's 78 years old. It's not like he's been highly visible for the last 40 years or so.

As I've already stated, he's probably drawing an NFL pension, so contact the Players Assn. I'm sure they'll forward a legitimate request. Hell, he might like somebody remembering him after all these years.

Thanks for the suggestion.
