Seahawks for Sale

Post by JuggernautJ »

What am I bid for the World Champions?
Going once, going twice...

Let's start a fund! I'm sure that if we all pool our loose change we can make a reasonable offer.
(Reminds me of when Lorne Michaels/Saturday Night Live offered the Beatles $3,000 to reunite on their show...)

The phrase "sell high" comes to mind.

That's exactly what first popped into my head, too!

And then I thought about the 1945 Cleveland Rams...

"I'd buy that for a dollar!" -- Robocop ... yep, if they let me pay one dollar a day, maybe I can own it after 9 million days?

Seriously, if the team sells for 9 million, fans/taxpayers should never allow any politicians/officials to ever propose taxpayer funding for any new or renovated stadium ever again! Let the owners collectively finance them, themselves ...

You're off by one letter...
That's Billion with a "B" not Million with an "M."

If we all chipped in I bet we could give $5/day... for a Billion days...

Haha ... had a Dr Evil moment from Austin Powers ... laughter all over the room. I meant, "9 Billion Days, at one dollar !

Meanwhile, Kansas is foolishly using taxpayer money to lure the Chiefs from Missouri ... The Titans are laughing all the way to the bank with their new stadium in Nashville ... Buffalo is doing the same and Indiana and Illinois are not battling over Superman but the Bears for taxpayer financing of a new stadium ... Forget Welfare, its Wealthfare! Who says America isnt a Plutocracy?
