What was worse as far as bad calls go:
The calls in the NFC Championship Game this season (missed face mask, and Kupp getting a first down narrowly)
Or the calls in the 2013 NFC Championship Game if you remember them? (I recall people saying Navarro Bowman recovered a fumble and got hurt on the same play, and I think there was a roughing the punter penalty that was not called either)

Yeah, that 2013 championship game had some bad calls, but the 49ers also had their chances. The Seahawks were the better team.
The officiating in this recent game wasnt as bad as I initially thought, but the officials still called penalties towards the end after keeping them in their pockets throughout. Still that was a bad miss on the facemask of Stafford. They could have gotten a lead on the Hawks sooner ...
I still believe even with the taunting on Woolen, the officials should have tacked in on the end of the punt but how could they? There wasnt a punt, so either not call it or punish the player, where Woolen got burned on the next play. Can he make it up to his team with a great SB?
During the year, its very close to whether Cupp would have gotten the catch, much less the first down? Had the Rams kicked the FG, to be down a point, the officials may have called it differently, but a big break for Seattle.

The 1983 NFC Championship game.
(But I may not be impartial...)

I agree on that 1983 NFC Campionship game. I felt the Redskins got home cooking. Darrell Green even got away with a clothesline tackle!
I think the outcome worked out for the Niners though, they used it for motivation for the next season. I dont believe they beat the Raiders without Clark, had they won this game.

Was a clothesline illegal in 1983? Everyone seems to ignore that the 49ers got away with a clear interference on a long pass on the drive previous to them tying the game.

I never noticed an offensive PI on the deep pass to Solomon? In fact, it looked like Freddie blew right past Green, who underestimated his speed. I would have to look back at the game.
