If you base induction on talent alone, Brown is a slam dunk. However, with all his off-the-field, and personality issues, I can see him not being inducted. There are definitely guys who aren't in based on what they did off-the-field who were really good.

As I understand it that would be Jim Tyrer, Darren Sharper, and Antonio Brown. Anyone else that was good enough by consensus and is out solely due to off field actions?

Ray Lewis is in the HOF. They clearly did not take into account his off-the-field history.

It's been clearly established that Ray Lewis never held a knife on the night those two men were stabbed. Any crime committed by Ray occurred only after the stabbings occurred. That's not akin to a murder/suicide, or multiple rapes.

And raises the question of OJ Simpson never being kicked out. But, OJ, never convicted of course, liable, not not guilty. However, Lewis, IMO, didn't do the murder but if I understand right, he was there and then helped cover up.

Brown will likely be like Sharper. Just ignored.

So it's not criminal intent to hire someone to murder someone for you? And to hide the evidence? I believe at least tampering with evidence is considered a felony.

Talk about coddling athletes with money--if Brown has any left--but he isnt even behind bars for attempted murder? He gets house arrest. Aint America Great for some people?

He is probably watching the tv series, or movie The Fugitive, coming up with escape ideas ... haha
