Some of you have probably already seen this video, but I don't see it posted here and I think it'll be of special interest to the demographic of this forum. A bit of exposition dump we all know to start out, but it gets very interesting around 12 minutes in and I learned a lot of things I'd never heard before. This will be a 4-part series, of which this episode will likely be the most fascinating and informative to the most forum members. I'll definitely be tuning into all of it, though.

I saw that video; thought it was pretty good.
The thing that is most fascinating is that Jon was able to find a discrepancy in the accounts of the final score of one of the games in 1920.
It does make you wonder if there are other games from those years with inconsistent accounts of what the final score is.

Any thoughts on Part 2? Or are you making a different thread for that?JameisBrownston wrote: ↑Thu Sep 11, 2025 3:59 pm Some of you have probably already seen this video, but I don't see it posted here and I think it'll be of special interest to the demographic of this forum. The series is finished now, enjoyed it immensely. I love that part 4 dropped two days after that 40-40 tie.

I'd be surprised if there wasn't.SeahawkFever wrote: ↑Fri Sep 12, 2025 11:45 am I saw that video; thought it was pretty good.

I did research on the Indiana-Notre Dame series and found a conflicting score from the early days. It was clear that the home news sources and the away ones had someone different wiring/calling in the report.
