J.J. McCarthy has played eight quarters and has looked positively atrocious in seven of them. Now operating with a patchwork offensive line, it could be a long season for him.

Youre right Citizen, but it didnt help that his top two backs only had 14 carries before Jones gets nicked up. This team has to help him with a running game because I feel he will improve. Where is Hockenson? They have to get him involved as well.

I missed this thread, so I'll share mine a month late. My Packers prediction was made before I knew Micah Parsons was coming to Green Bay.

Good points on your predictions Tommy ... was looking through your book summations and I noticed a point you made talking about your 70s, NFL book ... you made a point about the Bears possibly missing a divisional title as they tried to get Walter Payton a record. Would that be about his 1977 season, where he came close to 2000 yards or another record he was trying to reach? Just curious, since I havent read that book yet.

Emeka is going to be a Tampa mistake- they will regret not drafting defense

The Bucs need a pass rusher, not another toy for Baker to pad his stats
*ahem* You were saying???

Peaking too early. When the weather gets colder, he will shrink just like the rest of his Bucs AKA the NFC Dolphins

Looks like no one saw this Super Bowl matchup coming before the season.

74_75_78_79_ was the only one to have the Patriots even making the playoffs.

I was the only one to have the Seahawks making the playoffs.

Looks like CSKreager was the only one of us who predicted the Commanders regression.

I had them as a non-factor as well but in this thread I only noted my playoff picks which were merely okay like normal.

Looking back on it, I am surprised more of us did not pick Seattle. You could tell last year that Mike Macdonald is a good coach. I guess not many of us thought Sam Darnold would do too great.

I was expecting a lower playoff exit myself. The question I have now given that the Seahawks have made it as far as they have is how good is our offensive line given that Darnold’s weakness typically is passing when pressured.

As for the Commanders, I thought they punched above their weight and would regress, but I wasn’t expecting them to fall off this hard in one season.
