True, but the Bills were still a different team that late in the year at home. Aikman was a great player but never liked playing in the elements, even rain. A mental thing he didnt have to worry about due to playing mostly at home or a warmer site during postseason.

I do know that Troy didn't have a plethora of Montana-like 2-minute game-winning drives. In fact, not one can come to mind. I did start a thread asking about it some time ago and only had an "almost" example to offer in the OP - their loss to Belichick/Saban's Browns on that Saturday in late-1994 (Steelers getting crushed at home by Big D in the opener yet Browns - whom the 'Burgh would end up threeping - beat the 'Boys in Texas; go figure). Perhaps I got some answers at the time from some of you but already forgot.

No examples of #8 playing bad in bad-weather games come to mind, but maybe they're there to find which may enlighten me. Or maybe he didn't have too many opportunities in the early-'90s to prove that he could excel in such conditions.

It kind of reminds me of realizing very recently that Steve Young never won a road playoff game!
