I went through retired numbers at the moment, and there are two questions that I have that I want to see if you can get right:
1. Can you name the 28 numbers that no NFL team has retired currently?
And 2. Can you name the six numbers that have been retired by at least five different franchises?

Re: NFL Retired Number Trivia
My apologies for the late reply, but here are the answers:
The following numbers are not currently retired by any NFL team:
0, 2,6, 17, 23, 25, 26, 30, 35, 38, 47, 48, 52, 59, 62, 64, 67, 68, 69, 72, 81, 83, 84, 91, 93, 94, 95, 97, 98
The following numbers have been retired by five or more different NFL franchises:
7, 12, 14, 40, 70, 80
Interestingly, the Raiders and Cowboys don't retire numbers. If they did, 0 would be off the list.

And, I guess, that's also why the number 00 (according to Google) has not been retired?SeahawkFever wrote: ↑Wed Sep 03, 2025 2:27 am Interestingly, the Raiders and Cowboys don't retire numbers. If they did, 0 would be off the list.
If the Raiders retired numbers you'd have to think 00 (Jim Otto) would've been one of their first.
