Can someone identify a magazine?
Can someone identify a magazine?
I had a magazine that apparently I have misplaced. It was from 1995 and I think it was to celebrate the 30th Super Bowl but it may have been a preview of the 1995 season. All I can recall is it had a section with box scores and write ups of simulations of three potential SB XXXs. In one replay Dallas defeated Oakland 27-24. In the 2nd it was the Packers defeating the Steelers 21-14 with a goal line stand after almost blowing a 21-0 lead. The third was the Chiefs upsetting the 49ers 29-27 by stopping a 2pt. conversion. Does this ring any bells with anyone?

Not sure about a magazine with simulations but most make yearly predictions. For my money, Lindy's Pro Football has been the best magazine since the early 90s. For gamblers and fans that want precise team depth charts, you cant beat it. Other mags are slowly fading out or just about Fantasy projections.
If any magazine collectors have decent conditions of Lindy's Pro Football Previews going back to 1987, I will pay top dollar for them. I have thrown away or lost too many to count and have regretted it.
Will also pay top dollar for any Sporting New's Pro Football magazines or Annual books going back to the 1970s.

were I to guess it might be Peterson's Annual ... they did a good feature on Super Bowls. I don't think I have them that lae, but I have them from early 1970s through mid-1980sMark wrote: ↑Sun Jun 29, 2025 8:42 pm I had a magazine that apparently I have misplaced. I collected Peterson's as well, John. Mostly in the 80s though, along with Street & Smith's. Pro Football Weekly was awesome but I couldnt afford it every year when I was younger. Too busy trying to keep a car in running order.
