Re: PFRA in the News
The lineup of speakers for the April WNY PFRA Chapter Conference is set:
* PFRA President George Bozeka
* Former Buffalo Bill and current alumni President Jeff Nixon
* Buffalo sportscasting legend Paul Peck
* George Allen biographer and Redskins historian Mike Richman
* Concord Historical Society President David Ploetz (Pop Warner film presentation)
* Award winning author and historian Ken Crippen (member, Pro Football Hall of Fame Selection Committee)
* Podcaster, traveloguer and historian Randy Snow
** John Steffenhagen will also provide a brief update on the progress of the soon-to-be-released biography of Leo Lyons, owner of the Rochester Jeffersons and NFL cofounder.
** Gary Cobb will be bringing a smattering of items from his vast Buffalo Destroyers collection to display, and maybe he will have a little insight regarding the reported return of the Destroyers to active duty in 2026?
** Raffle
In addition, attendees can participate in the book swap (bring any football books you would like to trade, and choose from any the others have brought).
