Excellent foresight, CSK!! Very well done!

Many around me, coworkers in-particular, were outrageously confident that the Eagles would win decisively. I tried to warn them but they, and you, were right!

But '24 Chiefs still no "paper-tiger" with me! Tough to anoint a two-time-defending World Champ who was 17-1 in meaningful games going in as such. Close wins show character as well. But this Eagles squad was just so forceful on both sides of the ball! Much more so in this game than I anticipated. A stronger Eagle-champ with me than '17. They, so far, should be the best team this decade. But 1949 still KING of all Eagles teams! A Philly repeat next year should not be a surprise.

How does KC respond to this? If Reid stays a few more years (Kelce too, if only for leadership/presence reasons at this point), they'll likely readjust as they did after Tampa and maybe post another Lombardi or two whether consecutive or not. It's still a Dynasty even if merely one or not. But as I said yesterday, in the variety of an NFL version of Curry's Warriors. Gibbs' black-eye was to the Raiders, but Reid/Mahomes, boy, have TWO now! Belichick/Brady lost three SBs, but not a single one was lopsided.

Inner Excellence!

SB history yesterday. Was the first time a Super Bowl was played on Gulf of America Day.

EGAD!

After watching the Eagles make mincemeat out this KC offensive line--similar to the Bucs in 2021--the Buffalo Bills need to try to find a way to clear cap space and trade for Parsons or Garrett. Can they find the right package of picks or players?

KC offensive line is kinda crappy just like their run game is. Buffalo and Baltimore were far better in that regard.

I did say that KC would win a close game "if it was close" but I felt they could be beaten straight up. Would Buffalo or Baltimore have been better? Would have been different most likely. Barkley probably does better but the Eagles defense wouldn't have been so dominant.
