Rookies and Super Bowl teams
Rookies and Super Bowl teams
Came across a tidbit...Ed White was the only rookie to make the 1969 Vikings. Has there ever been a Super Bowl team that didn't have any rookies on their roster?

My first thought was the 1972 Redskins (George Allen as I understand it liked to trade picks for established talent). But even they had three players who are listed as rookies on their roster in defensive back Jeff Severson, running back Herb Mul-Key, and defensive end Mike Fanucci.
However all players who are listed as regular starters were in their second season at minimum.

Was looking at the 72 Redskins myself. When I looked at the 76 Raiders, didnt realize they had Mike Reinfeldt as a rookie. I bet they wish they could have kept him instead of sending him to the Oilers?
