Yeah, Snyder fits in nicely with the incoming crew of grifters who also have somehow avoided prison. As far as everyday DC fans, some 30+ years ago I did a magazine piece on the Hogettes. Big plastic cigars, snouts, crazy hats, parasols, all that---is that still a thing? Can't recall the name of the guy I profiled except he was nicknamed Pork Chop, and he was a mail carrier. Unless he gets/got comped I can't imagine what Wash season tix go for especially after this season. A retired mailman would have to fork over half his pension. Detroit season-ticket holders saw prices soar some 70% over last couple seasons. As always, the little guy who's supported a shit team for years---hell, decades---gets squeezed when the club finally starts winning. I noticed the stands at Ford Field were starting to empty out in 4Q, all the fat cats scurrying to beat the traffic. Gotta be one huge parking lot to accommodate that size of a bandwagon.
There's renewed talk that LA would like to trade Stafford, get some young blood (Matt is 36) at QB. Don't know if Stafford cares to move, but I could see him taking the right team over the top.

I hope not Richard. Stafford can still throw the ball and could reach 70,000 passing yards. Like you said, tough as nails and stays upright when we all wonder if he will miss games to injury. Rams need to keep him.
Just shows that running the ball was huge these divisional games with Hurts and Allen winning games despite throwing for 255 yards combined. Mahomes only had 177 yards passing himself.
Too bad the Lions didnt put the ball in Gibbs hands more.

According to reports, Johnson will become the Bears HC. Offensive line and running game will be a top priority but will he keep his former back with Detroit, Swift?
After watching the Ravens-Bills game, a key sequence was towards the end of the second quarter, with the Ravens marching to tie the game. At the Bills 3 yrd line, you figure its Henry all the way but after he is stuffed on first down, Jackson tries to pass and is sacked. Then Jackson throws incomplete to Henry at the 5yrd line and they settle for a FG. Big stop by Buffalo but had the Ravens given to Henry, might have tied the game at 14. A huge pass interference on former Bill, White, helps the Bills run in for a TD and take a 21-10 lead at halftime.

I just saw a crazy statistic. Ben Johnson and Aaron Glenn are the first Detroit Lions' assistant coaches to be hired by another team as head coach since Chuck Knox in 1973. Long time.

I hope the Lions hire in-house. Continuety would be great for the players and Goff can keep his progress going.
We all know about the usual star players who step up in the divisional playoffs but who were some of the unsung or little known players who stepped up this weekend?
Chiefs -- Remigio on special teams and Karlaftis, though he is more well known. Hunt didnt carry the ball much but was effective as the Chiefs kept their lead.
Commanders -- Sainristil had a great game with big interceptions and Ekeler played well despite being their third down back. The offensive line stoned the Lions pass rush. Dyami Brown had a huge game. Hell, I thought it was Noah Brown!
Eagles -- With Mitchell out, CB Rogers had some shaky moments in coverage but also had some big plays, including a fumble return. Burks also had a good game at LB. Goedert is more well known but helped in the passing game as the wide receivers struggled.
Bills -- RB rookie Davis was explosive on a limited number of touches. Bishop gained experience replacing Rapp. Shakir played well despite hardly anything from Coleman, Cooper and Kincaid. Good protection from the offensive line against the Raven's pass rush.
