Which would make them 12-2. I'm no KC fan, but I gotta admire any team's ability to continually win one-score games. Man for man, they may not measure up to some other elite teams, but they know how to win. It's an ethos, an expectation. Gotta respect that.
Winning one score games is luck, not skill
Really?? Week after week? Seems to me the good teams make their own luck. Hard to argue with 3 Super Bowls in 4 years. I wish the Lions had that kind of luck.

Now you've got me entertaining a new question - will the Chiefs be like the 2011 Packers?
I'd say they are probably more well rounded than those Packers, but point taken.

The 1966 and '67 Dallas Cowboys were two plays away from being back-to-back NFL champs and playing in the first two Super Bowls.

I'll give you '67, but in 1966 even if they got the TD they couldn't go for 2 so their best case scenario would have been OT

Well, since we're in fantasy land, I have Dan Reeves hitting Bob Hayes on the halfback option for a long TD on the first play from scrimmage in OT. So, back-to-back titles.

Joey Hetherton and Raquel Welch are also in that little fantasy from 1966-67, but I'm gonna keep that to myself.

The problem isn't that they're winning one-score games, it's that half of those have come from their opponent doing something stupid or a flag going their way. Also, most of them are like 19-17. Haven't seen them manage in a shootout yet.

Shades of Leon Lett ... poetic justice for the Bengals, as the refs miss an obvious facemask penalty on Joe Burrow by the Cowboys defense before the blocked punt. Without the muff, an easy Pokes win. Chase scores for the Bengals instead ...

In four weeks, two games that came down to missed fasemask penalties that were obvious ... the Vikings might have 12 wins.

Chase is about to be bank ... surprised the Bengals didnt extend him after the Ravens game?

Dowdle keeps getting better for the Cowboys, team him with Chubb from the Browns next year?
