Meanwhile, Anthony Richardson is somehow sitting last in the NFL in both passes per game and completion percentage. I assume QBs who play like this typically get benched, but have we seen other instances where someone maintained this for a significant stretch or until they got benched?

Kind of the opposite thing happened with Drew Bledsoe in 95...he led the NFL in pass attempts and finished last in passer rating. Kind of like a pitcher having the worst ERA in the league and pitching the most innings.

I think Warren Wells hit the trifecta in 1969, leading both leagues in yardage, average-per-reception and TDs, but had only 47 catches.

Cooper Kupp led in three categories in 2021, catches, yardage and TDs but not average-per-reception.
