Hardly any defensive players which is surprising. Maybe the next grouping?

Yes, this is setting up to be a dramatic ending. Who will be left off the list? Brad Van Pelt? Joe Morris? Joe Morrison? Fran Tarkenton?

Schnellbacher would have been top ten had he excelled for three more seasons. Barnes deserved better as well. Had Tarkenton led the Giants to the playoffs in 1970, may have never went back to the Vikings? Friedman was first passing superstar and should be in top 25 ... Lynch and Webster should be ahead of Beckham who had great talent but got distracted and bolted.

Brian, let's hope their final 30 is a solid as the one you put together.
Phil Simms had a great final season in 1993 and should be in the Hall of Very Good.
I had forgotten about Joe Morris from Syracuse. It seemed like he was spent after 1986.

Thanks HH ... subjective of course and some of these players won't be listed but I tried to look at players that were important to Giants championships and history as much as pure accolades or notoriety.

Good list ... I was right on Tuck and felt Martin and Marshall were close to each other. I disagree on Shofner, more valuable than people realize, for everyone on offense, especially Tittle, who doesn't make the Hall without him. Bavaro might miss the list, which is a shame. Cannady won't make it but helped make their early 50s defense really tough. Weinmeister seems right.

Will wait and see, but in my mind Shofner and Van Pelt are top 20 Giants ...
