RIP
The most dominant offensive lineman I have ever seen. Does anyone know cause of death? I am shocked and saddened.

Re: RIP Larry Allen
News reports have been using words like "sudden" and "unexpected." He was on vacation, not in a hospital, so I suspect a heart attack. He was one big dude when he was playing, and it didn't look like he'd slimmed down any. But like you said, a dominant force, one of the few guys to make the All-Decade team in two separate decades.

RIP Larry Allen
I keep forgetting that he wasn’t on the ’92/’93 teams. Never played for Jimmy.
Maybe I knew at the time, maybe I didn’t, but if I ever knew I forgot since then that he ended his career with San Fran; and made the Pro Bowl with them as well!
