Yes that absolutely constutes an obscure trivia question! Good one. My first thought was Ollie Matson vs. the Steelers in the 1950s but nope. May dig further after the kids are in bed.

Cordarrelle Patterson vs. the Bears. He had one in 2013 with the Vikings, another in 2018 with the Patriots, and the third one in 2022 with the Falcons.

I have that as the answer....Matson vs. the 1950's Steelers. What other player(s) had kick return TDs vs. the Steelers? I didn't see any in the game logs.ChrisBabcock wrote: ↑Thu Apr 11, 2024 6:50 pmYes that absolutely constutes an obscure trivia question! Good one. Re: Obscure trivia
The way I originally interpreted the question I thought you were going by "calendar decade". The Steelers allowed 5 KO TDs in the 1950s. 3 by Matson. If I change the decade span to 1953-1962 then yes that works. 3 allowed, all by Matson.Bryan wrote: ↑Fri Apr 12, 2024 7:39 amI have that as the answer....Matson vs. the 1950's Steelers. EDIT... Ok so I might have found a glitch on Stathead. When I search for number of KO TDs allowed by the Steelers in the 1950s it lists 5. When I change the search to list individual games the Steelers allowing a KO TD in the same span, it only lists the 3 Matson games. Hmmm
Re: Obscure trivia
I found an error in the Neft-Cohen encyclopedia which I think was transferred over to PFR...it lists the 1952 Steelers as having given up 2 KR TDs, but they actually gave up 0.ChrisBabcock wrote: ↑Fri Apr 12, 2024 9:38 am EDIT... Yep. It says they gave up 2 here. So if I go through all the games I won't find any?Bryan wrote: ↑Fri Apr 12, 2024 10:36 amI found an error in the Neft-Cohen encyclopedia which I think was transferred over to PFR...it lists the 1952 Steelers as having given up 2 KR TDs, but they actually gave up 0.ChrisBabcock wrote: ↑Fri Apr 12, 2024 9:38 am EDIT... OMG, is this another obscure trivia question?

Can you please state the answer?74_75_78_79_ wrote: ↑Wed Mar 20, 2024 7:38 pm Here's another...
Two of the HCs who I played for in my career are in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
The very first HC whom I played for would go on to muster a career total W-L %age at just above-300.
The first 2 TDs that I'd throw in my second-last season would be in a game against the team that'd end up winning-it-all at season's end; and one of those were thrown to a former member of that very team. Later on that season, I'd throw my very last TD pass of my career at a team that'd host a conference championship game the following year; and that TD would be caught by someone who'd be on a World Champ the year after that!
