K.C. vs. MIA in Frankfurt on Sunday - I can't believe I'm typing this but I think MIA has a good chance of winning that game. The Chiefs have just seemed "off" this season and the Dolphins, in my opinion, are better this season than they've been in quite some time.
ATL vs. MIN - Can the Vikings win now that Kirk Cousins is out? I'm sure this one is rated a toss-up (or close to it).
CLE vs. ARZ - Unless the Cardinals can pull a surprise in this one (the way they did against that one team from TX earlier this season), CLE all the way in this one.
G.B. vs. the LAR - the Packers haven't impressed since Week 1 (and I'm not sure how truly "impressive" they were in Week 1 - but they got the "W" that day). I have almost no faith in them in this one. The Rams figure to come in hopping mad after getting curb-stomped by the N.F.C. entry based in TX last Sunday.
N.E. vs. WAS - the Patriots surprised the Bills a couple of weeks ago. Can they do the same to the Commanders here in Week 9?
BAL vs. SEA - the Seahawks appear to have a formidable defense again but can their offense contribute enough to upset BAL?
PHI vs. DAL - the first of two scheduled meetings this year (as always). Is there any hope for the N.F.C. entry based in TX in this one considering what ARZ and SFO did to them?
the LVR vs. the NYG - Oh, brother, what a LAME match-up. I WANT to type "the NYG ALL THE WAY in this one" but teams are unpredictable after shakeups like the Raiders just had. Oh, wait - they benched Garoppolo in favor of some guy I've never heard of before, didn't they? I'm picking the NYG to take this one. Mark Davis apparently knows what he's doing only when it comes to running a women's basketball team.
CIN vs. BUF - Ooooooooooooo, what a juicy match-up in Cincinnati on Sunday night! All kinds of storylines in this one but if Joe Burrow is fully healed (or close to fully healed) from his training camp injury this could be trouble for the Bills.
the NYJ vs. the LAC - Not quite sure what warranted the Chargers being in prime time so often this season, but - whatever. Obviously not quite the match-up the N.F.L. was hoping for when they scheduled this one but the Jets are coming in on a 3-game winning streak and should provide the guys from southern California with a stern test on Monday night.

Re: 2023 season, Week 9 preview
What a week for Dobbs in Minnesota. From one win in Zona to being traded, to winning a dramatic game off the bench. Will the Giants trade for him next?
With a chance to win the game in Philly, Prescott and the Cowboys offense go backwards and you have to wonder if McCarthy can ever meet expectations to at least make a conference championship. Not a sharp bet, me' thinks
The Dolphins are freezing up against the better teams and team health needs to stay a priority if they want rematches against possibly KC and Philly in the future ...

Yup. While they're 6 - 3 on the season they're 0 - 3 against teams that are currently over 0.500.Brian wolf wrote: ↑Sun Nov 05, 2023 9:20 pm What a week for Dobbs in Minnesota. From one win in Zona to being traded, to winning a dramatic game off the bench. Will the Giants trade for him next?
