I didn't realize that Francis played that long into the 1980s. Kind of a weird player...didn't seem to really like football, didn't like to practice, but a very physical TE and a great blocker. Even when he played, people wondered why Francis wasn't putting up 1000-yard seasons. I've never really figured that one out, as he would make spectacular plays.
