DO YOUR HOMEWORK BETTER !!

Hopefully, the semifinalist list is closer to 28 players than 24

Watch out for Albert Lewis ... with shutdown corner credentials, great special teams play and fresh in voters minds ... could make the finalist list
For the record I would not object to Albert Lewis at all

According to Clark Judge, the Senior semifinalist list will be announced next week. If anyone wants to cheat and let us in on new additions, let me know ... Haha. He says there are 25 players, and I am assuming the coaches-contributors will be announced as well?

Lewis has shot as a semi. But doubt he ends up as one of the three.
Rest will have to wait. No shot this year...would like to see several
of those as well...

I'd break them into two groups ... I think top 4 slightly better candidates ...
otehrs may have a differnt order. Wish at least the top 4 would have a shot
this year...such a recency bias among sr committee

Basically ... this process has kept going till the just announced Class Of 2026, but lumped in the coach/contributor candidates the last two years.

What changes will happen now? Will there even be committees for these groups? Was it a success starting with the Class Of 2023 or a failure? Are the results realistic?

Class Of 2023

Howley
Klecko
Riley

Class Of 2024

Gradishar
McMichael

Powell was rejected

Class Of 2025

Sharpe

Tyrer and Baughan were rejected

Class Of 2026

Craig

Anderson and Greenwood were rejected

Only 7 of a possible 12 senior candidates were elected. Had things stayed the same as of 2024 -- though Powell should have been elected as well -- would have felt to many as a more successful process but large classes of 8-9 members created a backlash that still resonates.
