I saw at Veterans Stadium the following games featuring Wilbert Montgomery
1. His coming out game against the New York Giants in Week 13 1977. Wilbert took the second half kickoff and went 103 yards for a touchdown. This gave the Eagles a 10 to 7 lead. Philadelphia won 17 to 14 despite a critical fumble and a bad call from the official.
2. The final game of 1977 with the New York Jets. Montgomery got his first start, ran for 103 yards, and scored on a 20 yard touchdown run. Philadelphia 27 New York Jets 0
3. 1982 vs the Houston Oilers. From the Eagles 10 Montgomery took a snap center cut to his right, cut to his left, and ran 90 yards for the touchdown. This was the longest run in team history. Eagles 35 Oilers 14.
4. Game 2 vs. the Minnesota Vikings. Wilbert ran for 98 yards in 19 carries. He became the Eagles all time leading rusher. Eagles 19 Vikings 17.
