Yeah....but what did Mark Schlereth have to say about him?rhickok1109 wrote:Jim Marshall was never a first-team All-Pro and went to the Pro Bowl only once.
Being good--even very good--for 20 years doesn't equate to greatness.

I think the NFL doesn't want publicity over their lack of concern for the head trauma suffered by the older players.lehotskys80 wrote:Might have something to do with his infamy, which like OJ, overshadowed a great career.Sonny9 wrote:Or Jim Tyrer

At least with Kuechenberg, he has a puncher's chance by being a multiple finalist already but the Dolphins have a number of players from the 70s in the HOF. Hoping that despite short careers, Anderson and Scott will get their chances but it might be awhile ...

Re: HOF List for 25 Eligible Senior Semifinalists
If Anderson or Isbell got elected as passing QBs, could more QBs be on the semifinalist ballot in the next two years ?
Tommy Thompson, Charlie Conerly, Daryle Lamonica, John Brodie, John Hadl, Roman Gabriel, Phil Simms, Joe Theismann, Jim Plunkett have a chance ?
Doubtful that Frank Ryan or Jack Kemp slip in as well ...
