Jack Pardee for HOVG
Curious what people think about Jack Pardee's career and the HOVG? He had a very long career, from 1957 to 1972, then had a winning record as a head coach in the NFL, the USFL, the WFL and in college. Why did he leave the Bears for the Washington Redskins after the 1977 season? Was it just a case of preferring the Redskins ownership to George Halas? Thanks.

Re: Jack Pardee for HOVG
Thanks for the article Hail Casares ...
George Halas was a great HC and Owner but as cheap as anyone. The Bears have a great history but might have added more to it by spending a little more money and finding capable QBs ...
It would have been interesting had Walsh or Marchibroda coached Theismann and the Redskins but Cooke got rid of Pardee too soon I felt but Gibbs was a hot candidate coming from the Chargers.
