Sums up the 'news' and 'news' channels these days. Could have been any one of them and wouldn't surprise me.

"Unbelievably ignorant" sums up that story exactly-- what moron even allowed a dimwitted reporter to read this on the air? For those who don't want to watch, the claim is that Super Bowl attendance is "dropping", because the 2009 Packers-Steelers game attracted more than 103,000 people to Dallas, and they haven't had anywhere near that number since then... the next year, only two thirds as many people in Indianapolis, less than 69,000! Last year, it climbed back to 82,500 in New Jersey, but now,, the game is so unpopular that less than 65,000 folks will see it in Phoenix...
Are they aware that you can't fit 103,000 people into the dome at Indy, MetLife or Cardinals Stadium? I guess they figure that if more people buy some tickets, the NFL will move the game at the last moment.

Not only that, but if the Super Bowl were held in a stadium that held 250,000 people, it would sell out. The Super Bowl attendance is directly related to the size of the venue.

While they're being stupid, they might as well report about the declining revenues for Fox Network-- by golly, they were getting as much as $3 million for every 30 seconds of commercial time on Super Bowl Sunday four years ago, and... OH NO, statistics prove that Fox Network won't get anything close to that for whatever reruns they're showing while everyone's watching the Super Bowl on NBC.... that's probably why the person responsible for that story will be looking for another job soon.

The day Fox News fires someone for exaggerated, fake or false news reporting, now that would be news...
