I don't recall Vince Evans ever playing in the CFL. I remember him playing in the USFL.
We might be thinking of Johnny Evans? He punted for Cleveland and then played for the Concordes. I think he backed up Matt Dunigan in Dunigan's first season as starter in Edmonton after Moon went to Houston.
