Black punters in NFL

Post by John Grasso »

The Pittsburgh Steelers punter this season is Pressley Harvin who is Black.
Last weekend he was replaced by Corliss Waitman who is also Black.

Has any NFL team ever had two Black punters in the same season?

I don't remember. The other I remember were Greg Coleman, Reggie Roby, Marquette King and Paul McJulien.

I remember Dave Lewis with Cincinnati from 1970-73. He also played in the CFL with Montreal in the late 1960's.

Roby was a talented punter who passed too soon. He could wow a crowd like Ray Guy ...
