Don't know offhand, but he probably was born during the McKinley administration.

Thinking it was Joe Ferguson and the Bills over Namath and the Jets 16-12 in 1974 ... Ferguson was 0-2 in attempts.

Probably not the latest but surely the most famous was Otto Graham, who three exactly 0 (zero) passes in the Browns' 13-7 win over the Eagles on Dec. 3, 1950. (He did attempt one pass, but there was a penalty on the play so it didn't show up in the stats.)Brian wolf wrote:Can anyone name the last QB that started and played a whole game and won with three or less pass attempts ?

That Canton-Buffalo game last night sure was something; really thought the All-Americans would pull that one out, but they just couldn't stop Jim Thorpe and Oliphant has been brilliant at times but too inconsistent. The Bulldogs are in control of the title race, but let's see if they can keep it rolling against Dayton next week.
