best rookie season by a receiver
Re: best rookie season by a receiver
HARLON HILL! His 54 would translate into 16 games as:
60 Rec, 1,499 Yds and 16 TD's 25.0 YPC
Not to shabby.

That's an all time underrated press conference. Everybody loves "Playoffs" or "They are who we thought they were" but this one was classic, he repeated she something like 4-5 times it seemed.JohnTurney wrote:Terry Glenn, didn't she have a good rookie season?

As the years pass by, and the game becomes more complex,to me it becomes more and more impressive when a kid comes in out of college and plays that particular position as well or better than the established guys. It's not enough to just be a freak of nature, faster and stronger. They have to know how to play the game. Kelvin Benjamin, for example, came onto a team where the offense was "go long and I'll throw you the ball". ODB came onto a team with a much more complicated, multi-target offense where everything kept changing because of injuries. He gets my vote.

What does the D in "ODB" stand for?
The ny press refers to him as OBJ sometimes.

NYG - Odell Beckham named to Pro Bowl
Source: ESPNNewYork.com - Dan Graziano
New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. was named to the Pro Bowl Wednesday, Jan. 7, replacing Detroit Lions WR Calvin Johnson.

It's a sham that he wasn't already named as a Pro Bowler.

I read that Beckham's mother ran the NYC Marathon last year.

She probably did.Teo wrote:I read that Beckham's mother ran the NYC Marathon last year.
The only issue I have with Beckham Jr. is the "CHOSEN1" tattoo on his left arm. Good grief. Otherwise, he's alright.

He could have that amended to "CHOSEN12th", but I guess when he got it he was more optimistic about his prospects.King Kong wrote:The only issue I have with Beckham Jr. is the "CHOSEN1" tattoo on his left arm. Good grief. Otherwise, he's alright.
