Julius Adams was a defensive end who played for the New England Patriots for a very long stretch, from 1971 to 1985, then back in 1987. Is he a totally overlooked player? Is he a candidate for the Hall of the Very Good? Wondering what people think about his career.
Thanks.

Re: Julius Adams
I don't see any case here. Destitute man's Jim Marshall. Played for a long time, but had a very low peak and was VERY inconsistent. I imagine every third team had a better edge guy in any given year.
On a related note, I love that PFR now has sacks listed complete back to 1960. It really helps me get a handle on players like this. I presume this is the work of our @JohnTurney?

Just one Pro Bowl selection, 80.5 unofficial sacks... I don't see a legitimate case.
