Looks like Yanks had best pass rush, and this is before Arnie Weinmeister got there. I've read a little on Jack Russell, wonder if he wasn't the driving force on that line . .

I've had a hard time finding much game film on 1947. From what I've read, the Yanks had a very good defensive line in both 1946 and 1947 but specifics are difficult to come by. Not sure what kind of pass rusher Jack Russell was but would love to find out!
