It was great to hear Bob Vogel, who has a Super Bowl ring, talk about how he studied Grady Alderman on film to learn how to do better. The best part was when Alderman gave up his first-team spot to Vogel at the Pro Bowl, and to hear how much that meant to Vogel. Speaks volumes about both of these men.

With Tarkenton moving around a lot, it had to have taken a lot of discipline for Alderman, Sunde, and the rest of the linemen to not only hold their blocks but not commit penalties with an illegal man downfield, though officials may not have worried about that penalty too much back then.
